who are we?
TIME is a 501(c)3 organization that is made up of subject matter experts in both the education and medical professions. We have a Board of Directors and a general membership that help to guide our actions and spending to achieve our mission.

Why this is important.
Human Trafficking is the fastest growing global, illegal, immoral, and multi-billion dollar industry.

According to the State Department (2009), approximately 800,000 individuals are trafficked annually, 50,000 just in the US and RAPIDLY GROWING.
​
In the US, medical providers often see patients who are victims of human trafficking. Medical training lacks an emphasis on identifying these victims resulting in missed opportunities to recognize a victim.
​
TIME is a non-profit organization that focuses on just that - getting human trafficking education into the medical professions.
